It was this realization that sparked the idea for Cleansio products - nontoxic, fragrance-free, effective, customizable products at an affordable price. So Cleansio was brought to life and we are excited for you to get to know us and our products!
Cleansio is led by Sarah, a fearless executive, devoted wife, and loving mother to two energetic kids and fur-baby Boston Terrier. This family of five loves the chaos, and like you, would do anything to keep all of their babies and fur-babies safe. This means not allowing harmful chemicals into her home when cleaning.
This wife and husband team believes that safe, non-toxic products to use in your home should be accessible and affordable to everyone, this belief is what pushed Cleansio to go from an idea to reality.
Sarah and her husband welcomed their first child in 2016 and soon realized that their son had extremely sensitive skin.
This sensitive skin was later diagnosed in 2017 as eczema, a medical condition in which patches of skin become rough and inflamed, with blisters that cause itching and bleeding, sometimes resulting from a reaction to irritation.
Following their pediatrician's guidance, Sarah went on a hunt for fragrance-free products to help prevent their son's eczema outbreaks. This hunt resulted in disappointment and frustration. There was not much available in the market, and what was available was low quality with a high price tag.
Then March 2020 brought the COVID-19 pandemic front and center to America and hand soap disappeared from store shelves overnight. One of the main things experts told us to do was to keep our hands clean, which was hard to do if you couldn't find soap anywhere. This lead to the development of our Foaming Hand Soap Tablets. It also led to Sarah pushing Cleansio onto the cleaning products stage to help other families across the country in the same situation.
The first release of Cleansio products was in the summer of 2020 and parents everywhere echoed the same experiences that Sarah and her family had:
