Clean Your Jetted Tub the Right Way

After a long day of school drop-off, work, school pick-up, activities, laundry, assisting with homework, dinner, clean-up, and the never-ending bedtime routine, all you want is a relaxing bath to unwind before crawling into bed to do it all again tomorrow.

(And allow us to say, you deserve that long soak after all your hard work.)

Right as you lower yourself into the tub though you notice black flecks of debris floating around in the tub and as much as you need those jets on your back, you know that you cannot possibly relax in a dirty tub. You also know you don’t have the energy or the time to scrub it down. And then it hits you “What is that smell?”

Does Your Jetted Tub Smell?

The foul smell is the dirty water from your previous baths hanging out in the plumbing lines of your jets. This water is a combination of dirt, skin cells, body oil, and bacteria, creating a biofilm on your jets and your internal plumbing lines. If left to sit for too long, you will have various ecosystems growing in your bathtub.

Do not take a bath in a jetted tub that has a foul odor. That bacteria will contaminate the bathwater and possibly cause illness. It also won’t make you clean or relaxed.

What to Clean a Jetted Tub With?

Using Cleansio Jetted Tub Cleaner to give your jetted tub a professional cleaning will remove biofilm from your jets. The fragrance-free cleaning solution will remove grime and odors from the tub, not just cover up foul smells that are lurking in the plumbing lines.

Cleansio Jetted Tub Cleaner

Cleansio Jetted Tub Cleaner adheres to our standards of being dye-free, fragrance-free, non-toxic, and made in the USA. It also is an affordable cleaning product so families everywhere can know that their home can have a professional clean without breaking their budgets or spending hours of their time cleaning.

With this cleaner, cleaning your tub takes 20 minutes, giving you your time back to do literally anything else (because cleaning a bathtub is on no one’s “Favorite Things to Do List”).

How do I clean my Jetted Tub?

To clean your jetted tub with Cleansio Jetted Tub Cleaner, you will need about 20 minutes, 2 oz. of Jetted Tub Cleaner, and a cloth to wipe down the surface. We recommend a machine-washable microfiber towel (included with purchase) to give you the professional shine you are looking for.

  • First, fill your tub with hot water so that the jets are completely covered, and then add 2 oz. of Jetted Tub Cleaner to the water.
  • Turn your jets on high for 15 minutes (if we are motivated, we clean the rest of the bathroom while we wait, if we are not motivated, we take a much needed break from the day and rest).
  • After 15 minutes, drain the tub and rinse with warm water.
  • Wipe down the entire surface with the microfiber towel and enjoy that bath you’ve been looking forward to all day.

Cleaning your jetted tub is not the most glamorous job of maintaining a house, but it is for sure one of the most important jobs to ensure that germs and bacteria are removed from your home to keep your family healthy.
